Reenacting the ''Piccolino'' scene, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Top Hat (1935)

Grounded in the concept of the copy and referring to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' ''Piccolino'' song and dance scene in the movie ''Top Hat'' (1935), this side project explores the notion of the reenactment through theatrical performances. As an amateur imitating the singing, stepping and dancing of Ginger Rogers on the famous Rialto Bridge, the Campo de la Fava, the San Marco Square in Venice as well as the Rialto Bridge and two St Marco Squares in Macau and Shenzhen, the fake Venetian film set is forced into a relationship with its Italian original and its Chinese architectural doppelganger and miniature version.
