''Transient City'' 2007

The exhibition called ''Transient City'' consisted in lots of contemporary art in the streets and squares. However the people of Luxembourg are more conventional and sometimes even reclusive and do not sustain an open street culture like in warmer countries such as the South of France, Italy or Spain. Initiatives such ''petanque'' games in the squares failed but the open-air music festivals were successful.

Travelling Exhibitions

- In ''Plein d'essence (Fill up)'' (multiple projections on screens in 2007), the artist Genevieve Mersch, a well-known Luxembourg documentary filmmaker, filmed everyday life as it unfolded in the Berchem motorway gas station and rest area, which is one of the largest and most visited in Europe.
- In ''Travelling Cinema, Throughout the Greater Region'', the Travelling Cinema shows itinerant film projections from the early 20th century such as burlesque fairs.
- The ''Tenue correcte exigee (correct dess code required) choreographed by Jacky Achar by the Compagnie PH7 was shown in nightclubs in the Greater Region between January and June 2007.
- ''Retro/Pro-Spective EXPRMNTL'', an event based on experimental film and current forms of imagery in motion and its new media, was organised by the Cinematheque Royale of Belgium and Videographie(s) (in collaboration with the RTBF-Liege), was presented at various venues in the Greater Region. The project refers back to other projects from the 1970s and 1980s.
