In absence of the author, through circumstances or by choice, format factory is reassessed in a wider audience.
At this point, its status shifts according to the format of exhibition. Here its display in the White Cube makes it the content of the format of the gallery.
The White Cube is the new container of ideas of stillness and timelessness because it isolates objects from their context. Sometimes it feels as though art shows have replaced our weekly pilgrimage to the sacred church.
