FORMAT FACTORY - Storyboarding : formatting as method for projecting form
What is method?
Format factory is not interested in strategically analyzing the typologies of the modernist factory and library.
I interrogate the creative process of the modernist genius, who sketches out his vision on paper. Rather than the tree or bubble diagrams, I use storyboarding as a tool to destabilize the order of things and organize the quantity of content, embracing failure and detours.
Consequently my method of working is inspired but
diverges of those of Aby Warburg or Andre Malraux.
As an architectural methodology, it echoes
the voices of the Italian Avant-Garde of the 1970s.
